This piece began with a 1978 Baldwin “Funster” electric organ—an object once full of sound, now silent. I was drawn to the idea of transforming something seen as cold and synthetic into something that felt grounded, warm, and alive.

At the center are the original circuit boards, framed to highlight both their purpose and their quiet beauty—often hidden, often overlooked. What once powered music now becomes the heart of the story.

The moss-like texture is created from layers of paint and colored sawdust, offering the sense that nature is slowly reclaiming what was once man-made. It’s a reminder that even in the most mechanical things, there is connection, rhythm, and life.

In the end, It’s All Connected speaks to the mystery of how everything belongs—how beauty can emerge from unlikely places, and how even forgotten parts still hum with meaning.
